Hygienic Requirements For Sanitary Valves
Sanitary Valve's hygiene requirements:
The hygiene and epidemic prevention requirements of tap water pipes and valves are very important. At present, they have not received due attention from all aspects of production, construction, and application. Various medicines and foods are now under strengthened management, but few people are interested in the water that people come into contact with the most every day. This is an important issue we should solve in the future. GB5749 "Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water" and GB/T17219 "Safety Evaluation Standards for Drinking Water Transmission and Distribution Equipment and Protective Materials" must be strictly implemented. There must be a certificate from the provincial and above health and epidemic prevention departments. The 21 items and other 3 items specified in the immersion test, the coating should be tested for the 21 specified items and 5 other items. The raw materials must reach food grade.
Valve protection issues
To extend the life of the valve and ensure the hygiene requirements of the valve, the metal surface of the valve must be coated, the coating thickness must be guaranteed, and the coating process must be done before the metal surface treatment of coating to reach the grade (near white grade), and thermal spraying is recommended. The outer surface of the valve installed outdoors should be coated with UV-resistant acrylic paint.
Not only do the above-mentioned problems need to be solved, but the flow coefficient must be optimized, the head loss coefficient must be reduced, and research must be conducted to improve the production technology of special valves for large-scale pressure regulation and flow regulation (energy dissipation).
