Sanitary stainless steel butterfly valve refers to a valve whose closing part (valve disc or butterfly plate) is a disc, which rotates around the valve shaft to achieve opening and closing. It is mainly used for cutting and saving on pipelines. The opening and closing part of the stainless steel butterfly valve is a disc-shaped butterfly plate, which rotates around its own axis in the valve body to achieve the purpose of opening, closing or regulation. The full opening and closing of the sanitary stainless steel butterfly valve is usually less than 90°. The stainless steel butterfly valve and butterfly stem themselves have no self-locking ability. In order to position the butterfly plate, a worm gear reducer should be installed on the valve stem. The characteristics of industrial stainless steel butterfly valves are high temperature resistance, high force range, large nominal diameter of the valve, the valve body is made of carbon steel, and the sealing ring of the valve plate uses a metal ring instead of a rubber ring. Large high-temperature sanitary stainless steel butterfly valves are made of steel plate welding and are mainly used for smoke and air ducts and gas pipelines of high-temperature media.
