Material selection of sanitary valves

When purchasing sanitary valves, it is necessary to select the material of the valve according to the material used. If the material is corrosive, it is necessary to select 316L material. If the material is water or other ordinary materials, only 304 material is required.

Of course, there are other special cases. For example, when the material is viscous sugar, 316L material is required. Although the material itself is not corrosive, the pipeline will use highly corrosive liquids for cleaning in the later stage.

Types of sanitary valves

Common valves include butterfly valves, ball valves, check valves, and diaphragm valves. Among them, ball valves and butterfly valves mainly play the role of regulating flow, while the function of check valves is to prevent the backflow of liquid in the pipeline, so they are also called one-way valves.
