Stainless Steel Pneumatic Butterfly Valve Installation And Maintenance
Sanitary Butterfly Valve Installation and maintenance
1. When installing the stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve, pay attention to the flow direction mark on the valve body to avoid the wrong flow direction and affect the use.
2. If the stuffing box is found to be leaking during use, tighten the gland bolts to solve it.
3. The pneumatic actuator arm is a square head structure and is used as a manual device. When a fault occurs, remove the air source pipe and directly use a manual wrench to achieve manual operation.
4. Before using the stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve, confirm that the valve is fully open and flush the pipeline to avoid welding slag and other debris scratching the sealing surface.
5. The stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve can be installed vertically within the horizontal range of 180°. Do not install the pneumatic actuator upside down.
6. Stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valves are generally equipped with bypass pipelines. When repairing or replacing stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valves, the bypass pipeline can be used as usual.
7. For details on the commissioning of the positioner or solenoid valve, please refer to the manual.
Precautions for stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valves
1. During installation, the valve disc should be stopped in the closed position.
2. The opening position should be determined by the rotation angle of the butterfly plate.
3. For butterfly valves with bypass valves, the bypass valve should be opened before opening.
4. Installation should be carried out according to the manufacturer's installation instructions. Heavy butterfly valves should be provided with a solid foundation.
