Don't treat the installation of Sanitary Diaphragm Valve as a "child's play"

As far as I know, all sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valves must disassemble the actuator before welding on the valve body. And installing a sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valve is not a trivial matter, don't treat it as a "child's play". The quality of installation directly affects the use, so before installing the sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valve, please read the operating instructions carefully to confirm the pressure conditions of the valve, and provide a suitable air source (4~5.5bar) according to the selected valve, otherwise the valve will not be able to open and close normally.

Installation:

1. Applicable specifications must be followed.

2. Ensure that the pipeline is free of impurities before installing the valve, otherwise it will cause damage to the valve.

3. Connect the sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valve and pay attention to aligning the pipeline.

4. All sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valves must disassemble the actuator before welding on the valve body.

5. When replacing the diaphragm, keep the diaphragm and the sealing surface in an open position, and then separate the diaphragm from the sealing surface.
Sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valve

For normally open sanitary pneumatic diaphragm valve:

1) Ventilate the actuator to lift the diaphragm and detach it from the sealing surface.

2) Remove the four screws on the valve body crosswise to separate the actuator from the valve seat, cut off the air source, and replace the diaphragm.

3) Ventilate the actuator to retract the diaphragm.

4) Align the sealing surfaces of the diaphragm and the valve seat, cross-install the fixing screws, and ventilate and move them several times.

5) After closing the diaphragm valve for leak testing, it can be used normally.

Valve shaft packing of sanitary diaphragm valve

①Since the pneumatic valves in the pipeline network are usually opened and closed infrequently, the packing is required to be inactive for several years and not aged, so as to maintain the sealing effect for a long time;

②The valve shaft packing should also have a good sealing effect when subjected to frequent opening and closing;

③In view of the above requirements, the valve shaft packing strives to be replaced for life or for more than ten years;

④If the packing of the sanitary diaphragm valve needs to be replaced, the design of the pneumatic valve should consider measures to replace it under water pressure.
