What Are The Characteristics Of Sanitary Diaphragm Valves?
Sanitary Diaphragm Valve is made of rubber or polytetrafluoroethylene. When the diaphragm moves up and down, the flow through the valve is adjusted to achieve the purpose of regulation. So do you know what are the characteristics of sanitary diaphragm valves?
Characteristics of sanitary diaphragm valves:
1. Simple structure and few parts. The diaphragm valve is composed of only three main parts: valve body, diaphragm and valve cover assembly.
2. Easy to disassemble and repair. Generally, the damaged part of the diaphragm valve is the diaphragm. When replacing the diaphragm, there is no need to remove the valve from the pipeline. Just remove the valve cover. The replacement of the diaphragm can be completed on site in a short time.
3. Good sealing performance. Since the diaphragm is made of soft materials such as rubber or plastic, it has good sealing, but the mechanical life of the diaphragm is short. The medium in the valve will not leak from the connection between the valve body and the valve cover. The upstream and downstream of the valve can be cut off without internal leakage.
4. No dead angle in the valve. The flow channel of the valve body is streamlined, smooth, and has no dead angle. The medium flowing through the valve cannot be deposited in the valve and moldy and deteriorate. It is easy to flush, and the medium flowing through it will not get stuck if it contains fibers or particles.
5. No packing structure. The diaphragm valve does not require packing and is non-corrosive to the valve stem and valve cover (because the diaphragm separates the lower valve body from the inner cavity of the upper valve cover)
6. Widely used, can be used for cutting and throttling
