The difference between Sanitary Butterfly Valve and ordinary butterfly valves is that its sanitation level is relatively high. Therefore, sanitary butterfly valves are a kind of precision equipment. Collisions and falls are not allowed during transportation and installation. So do you know what precautions should be taken when installing sanitary butterfly valves?

The precautions when installing sanitary butterfly valves are as follows:
1. The sanitary butterfly valve is best installed upright and vertically on the pipeline. A support frame should be added in places where the valve has a large deadweight or there is vibration.
2. The valve body of the sanitary butterfly valve should avoid excessive stress due to serious misalignment of the front and rear piping or the flanges of the blending.
3. The sanitary butterfly valve must be installed according to the arrow of the valve body movement direction; in an environment without severe corrosive gases.
4. Before the initial start of work and after shutdown and maintenance, the piping system should be flushed first and then the regulating valve should be installed. Or install a transition filter in front of the valve.

The sanitary butterfly valve uses the torque applied by the handle or drive device on the upper end of the valve stem and transmits it to the ball, causing it to rotate 90°. The through hole of the ball coincides with or is perpendicular to the center line of the valve body channel, completing the full opening or closing action.
